I didn’t want the machine on my kitchen counter anymore so I wanted a separate bucket to store next to the sink. The only thing I don’t like is the handle on the lid. The handle with a wet had is slippery.

I’d been using my old compost pails and making a mess in the sink transferring scraps to the bucket. Now I just empty the bucket that’s finished and swap it for the one I was filling. Plus, if I don’t have time to unjam, I have a ready bucket so scraps don’t accumulate.
